Additionally, each topic or tab on the dashboard has a related supprot team to contact that provides the analysts title, name, email, and drecription of the funcational areas they support. My post on LinkedIn can be referenced here.

Regulatory Training Dashboard

Projects : All Business Segments
-
Change Job & Proposed Compensation
-
Streamlined our tenant routing for this process and built it out to fit our business needs - ending in a total of 50 BP steps.
-
This was broken out into various business segmented to account for the conditional routing for each such as:
-
Maintance
-
Accounting, Finance, & Tax
-
Operations
-
Safety & Risk
-
IT
-
-
A lot of calculated fields were build into the various condition rules, often having conditions rules referencing other conditions
-
Project LinkedIn post can be referenced here
-
-
Notification Designer
-
Revamped & designed out BP’s across the tenant to create a better user experience on notifications that come in
-
This required numerous calculated fields and design to better enhance the notification – mainly the security approval notification
-

-
-
Move Worker as Self-Service
-
This was a big win for the field as they can now maintain the constant movement locally in the field through the new task “Move Workers Supervisory”
-
I complimented this enhancement with an easy to follow guide that I built into the BP for managers to see upon initiating the task
-
-
Change Job Templates
-
Created 11 Change Job Templates that create an easier Job Change experience for managers
-
These are now leveraged on the employees profile & on the My Team Management Dashboard
-
-
Terminated Employee Access to Workday
-
Redesigned our authentications & Term BP to allow termed EE’s access into our tenant
-
This accounts for a step delay on terminating their user accounts into the system for 18 months
-
I also had to load an expiration date for any previously termed EE’s going back two years so that they could access the system as needed
-
-
Request Compensation
-
ThisBP mimiced the routing that I configured for the Change Job & Proposed Compensation project - making them both streamlined and mimics of each other.
-
The two proejcts went live at the same time and were put into production over the weekend to reduce and user errors
-
-
Request Framework BP: COVID Vaccination Status
-
Launched a new request type segmented down with who can initiate, correct, and approve the request. Further segmented security down with the questionnaire attached to this request type with who can see results tied to a custom report.
-
The beauty of going this route was the vaccination card did not live within the employees personal documents and was housed only within the questionnaire results, which helped from a legal perspective.
-
This was also blasted out on the announcements tab with no end date set and had a hyperlink tied to the request framework to help ease the navigation process for our employees.
-
Additionally launched a COVID campaign that would push daily survey's to our employees that required daily attestations. My coworker and I created calculated fields that brought the survey results in as one line across the report instead of having multiple lines for each respondents answers. This was a huge help to the HR team.
-
-
Request Framework BP: Security Requests
-
Leveraged a seperate request type to be a biref questionnaire for security requests based on functional area, and desired output of access they are needed.
-
Allowed the team to better track security requests for long term ease of accessibility to call upon for audit control
-
-
Request Framework BP: Request a Report
-
Our most simplisitic request type but allows the team to scope out the time it would take to build a report for the desired user based on requested parameters. Allows the team to track these requests are project wins on our Project Dashboard
-
-
Request Framework BP: Servant Leadership Nominations
-
This has been a huge help to my company that we leveraged as an nomination process for our Servant Leadership based internal training program.
-
It allows the team to take the nomination process out of writing emails and having to keep track. Once submitted in Workday, we could report on the data in reports and see who it was approved by based on the BP configuration
-
Security in place for this tool has been some of the most complex and rewarding. Forced me to learn new ways to leverage different types of security to meet a desired end goal, such as leveraging aggregate security to act as an exclusion security.
-
My LinkedIn posts over Request Framework can be referenced here & here.
-
-
Custom Organizations for People Analystics
-
These custom organizations are on-going. Rebuilding the entire hierarchy system to create stories on the field.

Structured to mimic our existing location hierarchy in place which includes all sub locations of an existing district to get a better picture. This has been leveraged by using organizational membership security on the organization needed.
-
-
Total Rewards Project
-
Turned on the Total Rewards tab in one of you test tenants to help benefits with the bonus roll out program for the year. This project required me to enable the tab, and turn on all of the necessary security for everyone to have view access.

-
Locked down campaign results survey so CAN HR could run a report to see who hadn't answered.
-
-
Custom Location Based Hierarchy to Leverage as Calculated Fields On Reports
-
Built a separate location hierarchy system for out division and regions. This allows us to not only more easily target what division and region and employee is in from their individual profile, but for reporting purposes as well.
-
This helped tremendously with our turnover reporting, and reporting across all areas of the company which has been a big pain point since go live. This also allows us to more easily target employees as well for document distribution and security for various business segments in Workday.
-
-
Document Security
-
Revamped the document security process which allows only the pertinent documents to be tied to the necessary categories. This allowed us to then draw upon these documents within these categories whenever necessary.
-
Each categories is lock down with the necessary security as well based on security groups and secured on the business process as well.
-
-
Exit Interview Questionnaire
-
Launched an exit interview process that would initiate upon submitting a voluntary termination reason to the employee's inbox. This questionnaire had segmented security built around it with who could pull results into a custom report and is currently in use by two of our divisions.
-
This has been particularly useful in determining employee retention and highlighting pain points that can be addressed. With the success of this project, it is continuing to be adapted by more of our districts and divisions.
-
-
Job Change Business Process Configuration
-
This is our most extensive business process configuration in the system. It requires specific routing rules for our business needs based on job family, job profile, job changes reason, etc. It was a huge win for our company, as initially we had this as a manual process where someone would submit the job change previously and there was no routing.
-
My coworker spearheaded the process and I was the main tester and contributed to the business process input. I still maintain the overall process to ensure accuracy for the company.
-
-
Quicklink Security Leveraged Into Custom Reports For Business Processes
-
Created various quick links for the Request Compensation Change Process and Job Change Process in Workday. Each quicklink was secured down with security on who can access it. These links and embedded on our internal website. They include guides, and videos which provide very useful information for the company that are launched and atomically pop up upon initiating any of these business processes.
-
These quicklinks were then leveraged into a custom report that was tied to the Change Job and Comp Change BP's. It auto pops up upon initiating these BP's so the help guides are harder to miss.
-
-
